Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding with dignity and compassion
• Provide attentive hands-on care during medication passes and meals as directed
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations
• Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and equipment
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
• Demonstrate infection control practices and follow facility policies to protect residents and staff

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (state-appropriate) — required
• Ability to work scheduled days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday (6:45 AM - 3:00 PM)
• Comfortable working in a long-term care setting and supporting diverse resident needs
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in where needed

Education

• Completion of state-approved CNA training program; high school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on resident care and ADL assistance
• Basic patient observation and reporting
• Safe transfer and mobility techniques
• Infection prevention and sanitation practices
• Clear charting and documentation skills
• Compassionate communication with residents and families
