Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on therapeutic interventions and assist patients with individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists to implement and adjust care based on patient progress
• Document patient evaluations, treatments, and outcomes accurately in the medical record
• Educate patients and families on home programs and safety strategies to maximize recovery
• Monitor patient response and communicate changes promptly to the clinical team
• Contribute to a positive, patient-centered environment that promotes dignity and independence

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in New Hampshire or eligible for state licensure
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Comfortable working with a diverse rehab population and varying levels of mobility
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with reliable documentation practices
• Professional, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to patient-centered care

Education

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Completion of PTA clinical requirements

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of therapeutic modalities and rehabilitative exercises
• Skilled in patient transfers, gait training, and mobility assistance
• Proficient with clinical documentation and basic electronic medical records
• Ability to instruct patients and caregivers in home exercise programs
• Good clinical observation skills and the ability to report changes effectively
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
