Shift Type: Days to be confirmed, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (evening shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to residents, assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and promote dignity and independence
- Observe, record and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
- Support safe mobility by assisting with transfers and ambulation according to care plans
- Help maintain a clean, comfortable and safe environment for residents
- Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families through respectful communication
- Participate in team huddles and contribute to person-centered care planning
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (or equivalent state-recognized certification)
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Prior experience with geriatric or long-term care residents is a plus
- Proof of required immunizations and background checks per facility policy
- Reliable, compassionate, and a team-oriented mindset
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an accredited Geriatric Nursing Assistant program or equivalent certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of basic resident care and activities of daily living
- Ability to take and record vital signs and observe clinical changes
- Good communication skills with residents, families and interdisciplinary teams
- Basic infection control practices and safe patient handling techniques
- Comfortable with documentation and following care plans
- Empathy, patience and a calm approach to challenging situations
