Shift Type: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Shift 2, Evening). Days of week not specified in posting.
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to older adults, supporting activities of daily living
- Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, and mobility with dignity and respect
- Observe and report changes in residents’ condition to the nursing team promptly
- Take and document vital signs and fasting trends accurately
- Support a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
- Build meaningful connections with residents to promote emotional well-being
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Comfortable working with the geriatric population and assisting with ADLs
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Background check and any facility-required screenings successfully completed
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred; GNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic clinical skills: taking vitals, assisting with mobility, ADLs
- Infection control and safe patient handling practices
- Basic documentation and charting in resident records
- Ability to follow care plans and directions from nursing staff
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
- Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
