Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered care and support daily routines
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Monitor residents’ well-being and report changes to the care team promptly
- Document care accurately and maintain clear communication with colleagues
- Support a safe, clean, and respectful living environment for residents
- Engage residents with dignity and encourage social and emotional well-being
Qualifications
- GNA certification (required)
- Comfort working with geriatric populations and long-term care residents
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well on a care team
- Demonstrated compassion, patience, and respect for older adults
- Willingness to complete facility-required onboarding and training
Education
- GNA training/certification required
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic geriatric care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Skilled in resident observation and timely reporting of changes
- Familiarity with basic documentation practices in a care setting
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with residents
- Infection control awareness and safe patient handling principles
