Location: Brooklyn Park, MD
Shift Type: To be determined, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening/Night shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living to residents
- Support safe transfers and mobility while using proper body mechanics
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report observations to nursing staff
- Document care accurately and timely to ensure continuity and quality
- Assist with meals and feeding as needed, respecting residents preferences and dignity
- Engage residents in meaningful conversation and activities to promote social well-being
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment
Qualifications
- Active GNA certification (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) required
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Comfortable assisting with personal care, mobility support, and documentation
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered attitude
- Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an approved GNA training program required
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of basic geriatric care and common age-related conditions
- Familiarity with infection prevention and safe handling procedures
- Reliable documentation and observation skills
- Teamwork mindset and ability to follow care plans and direction from nursing staff
- Good interpersonal skills for building rapport with residents and families
