Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care appropriate to your LPN or RN scope
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient responses
• Document clinical findings and interventions clearly and accurately in the medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update care plans
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and safe transitions
• Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns to appropriate providers

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN or RN license (eligible to work in Maine or compact-license accepted where applicable)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; additional certifications encouraged as appropriate
• Recent clinical experience relevant to the assigned unit and patient population
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach

Education

• LPN: Practical nursing diploma or equivalent
• RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of nursing fundamentals, medication administration, and patient assessment
• Proficiency with electronic health records and accurate clinical documentation
• Excellent clinical judgement and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
• Teamwork, adaptability, and a positive attitude when collaborating with staff and families
• Infection control practices and safe patient handling techniques
