Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert perioperative nursing care for neuro spine, orthopedic and urology cases, ensuring excellent patient outcomes
• Safely position patients and operate specialty tables including HANA fracture/anterior hip table and Jackson Table
• Assist with and circulate during spinal fusion, discectomy, laminectomy and endoscopy procedures with competence and confidence
• Document thoroughly and accurately in EPIC to support continuity of care and team communication
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia and perioperative team members to optimize surgical flow and patient safety
• Adhere to sterile technique and OR best practices while anticipating supply and equipment needs
• Support orientation and mentorship for new staff and travelers when appropriate

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years operating room (OR) experience
• CURRENT HANA table (fracture/anterior hip) experience — non-negotiable and must be noted on your profile
• Jackson Table experience required
• Competence in spinal fusions, discectomy and laminectomy — must be documented on profile
• EPIC experience required
• New Hampshire RN license or Compact license required; New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate must be uploaded at submission
• Active American Heart Association BLS required
• Own vehicle and permanent address included in profile
• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Perioperative nursing principles and sterile technique
• Hands-on experience with HANA fracture/anterior hip table and Jackson Table
• Familiarity with EPIC documentation and perioperative workflows
• Clinical competence in spine surgery, orthopedics, urology and endoscopy procedures
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in fast-paced surgical environments
• Ability to manage perioperative patient positioning, instrumentation and safety checks
