Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiographic imaging exams with accuracy and compassion
• Ensure patient safety and comfort while following ALARA and facility protocols
• Operate and troubleshoot radiology equipment, maintaining proper imaging quality
• Document procedures accurately and maintain clear communication with the care team
• Respond promptly and professionally to on-call requests and weekend rotations
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards to protect patients and staff
• Collaborate with technologists, radiologists, and nursing staff to support patient care

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Radiology / Rad Tech experience as listed
• Must be able to take call and participate in the rotating weekend schedule
• Comfortable working 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM day shifts and responding to on-call needs
• Strong patient care skills and the ability to communicate clearly with diverse patients
• Current state radiologic technologist license or ability to obtain licensure
• ARRT certification preferred or equivalent credentialing where applicable

Education

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (Associate degree or equivalent preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in radiographic positioning and imaging techniques
• Knowledge of radiation safety principles and ALARA practices
• Familiarity with PACS and basic digital imaging workflows
• Ability to operate radiology equipment and perform routine quality checks
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable handling on-call duties and adapting to rotating schedules
