Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert labor and delivery nursing care including continuous fetal monitoring and responding to changes in maternal or fetal status
- Assist and prepare for labor and C-section procedures, collaborating closely with obstetric and surgical teams
- Perform neonatal resuscitation (NRP) when needed and coordinate immediate NICU transfer if required
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the CPN system to support continuity of care
- Operate and manage unit equipment such as Alaris IV pumps safely and effectively
- Deliver compassionate postpartum and lactation support to families, educating and empowering new parents
- Maintain patient safety and appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios through vigilant assessment and teamwork
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) — current and in good standing (RN title specified in job)
- Certifications required/expected: NRP, BLS, ACLS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
- Experience in Labor & Delivery and comfort with NICU patient populations and neonatal care
- Skilled in fetal monitoring interpretation and labor support
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 6:30 PM) and adhere to unit scheduling requirements
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
Knowledge & Skills
- Fetal monitoring and intermediate fetal strip interpretation
- Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) and basic neonatal stabilization
- Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BLS)
- CPN documentation system proficiency
- Experience with Alaris IV pump management
- Lactation support basics and postpartum education
- Ability to function in a fast-paced L&D/NICU environment and prioritize patient safety
