Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, safe, and competent nursing care to assigned patients during the night shift
• Assess patient status, document findings, and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team
• Administer medications and treatments accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with nurses, providers, and ancillary staff to support continuity of care
• Educate patients and families about care plans, discharge instructions, and self-care
• Maintain accurate, timely charting and adhere to safety and infection control standards

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted LPN license valid for practice in New Mexico
• Recent clinical experience as an LPN, preferably in long-term care or similar settings
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; other certifications a plus
• Ability to pass facility background checks and required onboarding clearances
• Comfort working 12+ hour night shifts and providing dependable coverage

Education

• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent vocational training

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical observation skills
• Medication administration and documentation proficiency
• Clear verbal and written communication with patients and the care team
• Time management and prioritization during busy night hours
• Compassionate bedside manner and ability to work independently
