Certified Nursing Assistant
Location: Gettysburg, Pennsylvania
Shift Type: Night shift, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (schedule may vary; specific days determined by facility)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting changes to the nursing team promptly
- Assist with safe transfers, positioning and mobility while following facility protocols
- Support mealtime assistance and hygiene needs respectfully and professionally
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to promote quality care
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Demonstrated experience working in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
- Ability to pass background checks, health screenings, and any required facility onboarding
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CNA training program completion and state certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on patient care and assistance with ADLs
- Basic clinical observation and accurate documentation
- Infection prevention and safe patient handling techniques
- Team collaboration and clear communication with nursing staff
- Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs on night shift
