Shift Type: Rotating day shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, schedule includes every other weekend (day shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy safely and competently, following all protocols
- Perform stem cell infusion pre- and post-care and monitor patients for infusion reactions
- Manage immune effector cell therapy infusions and provide vigilant post-infusion care
- Operate and troubleshoot IV pumps and remote patient monitoring equipment
- Document care accurately in the Meditech EMR and maintain clear communication with the care team
- Provide patient and family education about treatments, side-effect management, and follow-up
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions between clinic and inpatient care
- Maintain unit safety standards and adhere to transplant and cellular therapy policies
Qualifications
- Current, active RN license (eligible to practice in Texas)
- Chemotherapy certification — REQUIRED
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience (Oncology/Chemotherapy experience required)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required; additional certifications a plus
- Comfortable with infusion nursing and IV pump management
- Able to work every other weekend as part of the schedule and float to related units when needed
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong oncology background and hands-on chemotherapy administration skills
- Experience with stem cell infusion and immune effector cell therapies
- Proficient with Meditech EMR documentation
- Skilled at patient assessment, monitoring, and early recognition of infusion reactions
- Excellent multitasking, prioritization, and communication skills
- Team-oriented attitude with flexibility to adapt to unit needs
