Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care to adults in the facility
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Monitor residents' health status and report changes to the care team
• Support daily living activities and promote resident dignity and independence
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
• Maintain accurate clinical records and follow facility policies and procedures
• Participate in safety, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in North Carolina required
• Meet facility health and screening requirements including MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19 vaccine, Influenza vaccine, physical/health statement, and Trinity 10 panel drug screen
• Comfort working in a per diem/pool environment with flexible scheduling
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team

Education

• Practical Nursing diploma or equivalent and active LPN licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
• Knowledge of long term care practices and resident safety
• Ability to assess resident condition and escalate concerns appropriately
• Good documentation and charting practices
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate bedside manner
• Time management and the ability to prioritize in a busy environment

This is a contract travel/per diem position. Enjoy exploring the Sandhills region of North Carolina while on assignment.
