Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on nursing care to residents in the McAuley Center
• Perform routine assessments and monitor patient status, escalating concerns promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and according to orders
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and resident interactions
• Support a culture of infection prevention through vigilant adherence to protocols
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver personalized care plans
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges to ensure smooth transitions

Qualifications

• Active LPN license (required) with License/Certificate Verification
• Current BLS certification
• Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
• Successful Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen and respirator evaluation / fit test
• Up-to-date immunizations and health screening (PPD/IGRA, MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19, Influenza)
• Physical/Health Statement on file

Education

• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid fundamentals in basic nursing assessments and vital signs
• Competence in medication administration and documentation
• Familiarity with infection control practices and PPE use
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced long-term care or skilled nursing environment
• Clear communication skills with residents, families, and clinical teams
• Ability to follow care plans and clinical policies consistently
