Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on nursing care to residents in the McAuley Center
- Perform routine assessments and monitor patient status, escalating concerns promptly
- Administer medications and treatments safely and according to orders
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and resident interactions
- Support a culture of infection prevention through vigilant adherence to protocols
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver personalized care plans
- Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges to ensure smooth transitions
Qualifications
- Active LPN license (required) with License/Certificate Verification
- Current BLS certification
- Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
- Successful Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen and respirator evaluation / fit test
- Up-to-date immunizations and health screening (PPD/IGRA, MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19, Influenza)
- Physical/Health Statement on file
Education
- Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid fundamentals in basic nursing assessments and vital signs
- Competence in medication administration and documentation
- Familiarity with infection control practices and PPE use
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced long-term care or skilled nursing environment
- Clear communication skills with residents, families, and clinical teams
- Ability to follow care plans and clinical policies consistently
