Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care within the LPN scope of practice
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to facility protocols
- Perform focused patient assessments and report changes promptly to the care team
- Complete documentation and maintain accurate patient records
- Support RNs and interdisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated care
- Participate in required competency testing such as Trinity specialty assessments
- Adhere to infection control, fit testing, and respirator evaluation requirements
Qualifications
- Current LPN license (must be valid for practice in MA or eligible to obtain MA licensure)
- BLS certification (required)
- Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
- Successful license/certificate verification
- Current Fit Test and Trinity respirator evaluation
- Required health screenings and immunizations (2-step PPD or IGRA, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19, Influenza)
- Trinity 10-panel drug screen (per policy)
- Professional, reliable, and patient-focused attitude; previous LPN experience preferred
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program
- BLS certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and basic nursing skills for med administration and wound care
- Knowledge of documentation best practices and electronic charting
- Ability to follow facility policies, safety protocols, and infection control procedures
- Comfort working in fast-paced environments and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
- Competency in Trinity-based testing and checklist-driven validation
