Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients with professionalism and empathy
• Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document in the medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient-focused care
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and discharge plans
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition promptly and appropriately
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation to support continuity of care and compliance

Qualifications

• Current RN license in New York State (required)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred
• Clinical experience in acute care settings preferred; open to new graduates for some per diem roles
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills
• Ability to pass facility background checks and health screenings as required

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy competency
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and accurate documentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and team members
• Time management, prioritization, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to patient safety, infection control, and evidence-based practice
