Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality respiratory treatments and testing for all age groups, including PFTs, stress tests and EKGs
- Provide compassionate inpatient and outpatient respiratory care, including ED support
- Attend all C-sections and provide OB/C-section respiratory support when needed
- Educate patients and families about respiratory conditions, medications and discharge plans
- Operate and maintain a variety of respiratory equipment safely and effectively
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement patient-centered plans for successful discharges
- Document clinical care accurately in EPIC and communicate clearly with team members
Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
- Active Montana Respiratory Therapist license (required)
- Graduated from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Current BLS required; NRP, PALS and ACLS highly preferred
- Current experience responding to C-section/OB resuscitations
- Comfortable performing Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT), Stress Testing and EKG administration
- Familiarity with EPIC and strong documentation skills
- Excellent team communication and patient education skills

- Graduated from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program

- EKG placement and basic interpretation
- Wide variety of respiratory equipment use and troubleshooting
- Inpatient, outpatient and emergency respiratory care workflows
