Shift Type: Nights, 12-hour shifts — typical example: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (exact schedule/days to be confirmed)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist and supervise daily nursing activities on the night shift to maintain high-quality resident care
- Implement rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices to support residents’ independence
- Monitor residents’ conditions, respond to changes, and escalate concerns to the Director of Nursing
- Provide patient-centered care including medication administration and treatments (IV administration when certified)
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with federal, state, and facility regulations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and communicate with families to ensure cohesive care plans
- Promote a safe, respectful environment and model best practices for long-term care nursing
Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) — valid Colorado LPN license required
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or comparable setting
- Training or experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices
- IV certification preferred (encouraged if you can provide IV care)
- Comfort and ability to work night shifts and provide supervision during your tour of duty
Education
- LPN diploma or vocational nursing certificate (Licensed Practical Nurse required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient supervision and hands-on patient care skills
- Experience in long-term care (LTC) environments and restorative nursing
- Solid documentation and charting ability, attention to regulatory compliance
- Good clinical judgment, vital signs assessment, and medication administration skills
- Clear communication and teamwork with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary staff
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time on 12-hour nights, and handle shift transitions
