Shift Type: 4x10 Day shifts: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 4 days per week (scheduled; specific days set by unit), Day shift. Includes call rotation: 1-2 weeknight call shifts per 6-week schedule and 2 weekend call shifts per 6-week schedule (30-minute call response).
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $80 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Scrub for interventional and diagnostic cardiac procedures, ensuring sterile technique and patient safety
- Assist the cardiology team with device implants, ablations (preferred), and STEMI/NSTEMI interventions
- Prepare and verify equipment and supplies (including devices and imaging systems) before cases
- Document procedures and patient care accurately in EPIC and support Siemens imaging workflows
- Respond to call assignments within 30 minutes and provide dependable coverage during rotation
- Collaborate with nurses, cardiologists, and techs to optimize case flow and patient outcomes
- Participate in unit orientation and ongoing competency validation to maintain high-quality care
Qualifications
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI — required
- ACLS (AHA) — required
- BLS (AHA) — required
- Minimum 1 year of relevant Cath Lab/CV experience
- Experience in interventional and diagnostic cardiology and working with cardiac devices
- Epic and Siemens experience preferred
- Driver’s license must be submitted; clinicians must be in-state for orientation week
- Ability to perform scrub tech duties and reliably respond to call assignments
Education
- RCIS certification (CCI) required
- ACLS & BLS required
- BSN not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Cath Lab procedures and sterile technique
- Interventional and diagnostic cardiology workflows
- Familiarity with cardiac devices and implantable therapies
- Ablation experience is a plus
- Proficiency with EPIC charting and Siemens imaging systems
- Strong teamwork, communication, and situational awareness in acute care
