Roles & Responsibilities

• Triaging patients in the outpatient/primary care setting to prioritize care and ensure safe, timely treatment
• Performing phlebotomy and lab specimen collection accurately and with patient comfort in mind
• Administering injections and other outpatient procedures following facility protocols
• Using ATHENA EMR for charting, orders, and clinical documentation efficiently
• Working independently in a small, rural unit—managing patient flow and coordinating with providers
• Supporting occupational health services such as DOT testing, respirator fit testing, and pre-employment physical workflows
• Providing patient education, preventative care guidance, and clear follow-up instructions

Qualifications

• Active New Hampshire RN license (NH or Compact) in-hand at submission
• New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration certificate uploaded with your profile (required for submission)
• BLS (AHA) current
• Minimum 3+ years current clinic/primary care experience
• Minimum 2+ years current triage experience
• Current ATHENA EMR experience
• Comfortable and experienced with injections and drawing blood
• Adult outpatient experience required
• Own vehicle required for this assignment
• Previous travel experience and rural/small facility experience highly preferred
• Permanent address and any requested time off noted in profile at submission

• Strong triage assessment and clinical decision-making

• Injection administration and outpatient procedure skills
• Proficiency with ATHENA EMR workflows
• Ability to work autonomously in a small hospital setting
• Familiarity with outpatient lab, audiology, and occupational health processes
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Organizational skills to manage variable schedules and documentation requirements
