Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide focused neuro-critical care to patients in Neuro ICU and IMCU with compassion and clinical precision
• Float seamlessly between ICU and stepdown areas as needed to support patient flow and team needs
• Perform thorough assessments and monitor patients using critical care protocols and technology
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
• Document care accurately, maintain required certifications in profile, and keep credentialing current
• Serve as a patient and family advocate, communicating complex information clearly and compassionately

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure (must provide Nursys License Verification)
• Minimum 2 years experience in Neuro ICU or equivalent neuro critical care specialty
• Experience working in ICU/IMCU/stepdown environments and the ability to float between units
• Complete professional profile with resume/work history (no gaps greater than 60 days), skills checklist, references, and certification card
• Badge-appropriate photo and all demographic info uploaded into your profile before start

Knowledge & Skills

• Neuro critical care expertise and strong neuro-focused assessment skills
• Comfort with ICU and IMCU environments and stepdown patient management
• Critical care nursing fundamentals and ability to manage complex patients
• Experience with floating between units and adapting to varying workflows
• Familiarity with credentialing processes, including Nursys verification
• Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to documentation detail
