Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality general ultrasound exams for patients across all age groups, ensuring accurate imaging and diagnostic support
- Optimize image acquisition and documentation to assist radiologists and care teams in timely diagnoses
- Follow facility protocols for patient safety, infection control, and imaging standards
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and families to provide a calm, reassuring experience
- Maintain required licensing and certifications, and upload compliance paperwork promptly to meet client deadlines
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate imaging needs and contribute to excellent patient outcomes
Qualifications
- ARDMS certification required
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- 2+ years of General Ultrasound experience required
- Must have experience imaging all age groups (pediatric through geriatric)
- NH MIRT (Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy) license required; NH temporary license available (with equivalent state license from NM, ND, or OR) — quick turnaround
- Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment
- All required medical/occupational health compliance items must be completed and uploaded within 5 days of offer acceptance
Knowledge & Skills
- Proven ability to perform comprehensive general ultrasound exams
- Strong patient positioning and image optimization techniques
- Familiarity with facility documentation and uploading licenses/certificates
- Excellent communication and patient care skills across all age groups
- Attention to detail for compliance, scheduling, and timely paperwork submission
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with radiologists and clinical teams
