Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality general ultrasound exams for patients across all age groups, ensuring accurate imaging and diagnostic support
• Optimize image acquisition and documentation to assist radiologists and care teams in timely diagnoses
• Follow facility protocols for patient safety, infection control, and imaging standards
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and families to provide a calm, reassuring experience
• Maintain required licensing and certifications, and upload compliance paperwork promptly to meet client deadlines
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate imaging needs and contribute to excellent patient outcomes

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• 2+ years of General Ultrasound experience required
• Must have experience imaging all age groups (pediatric through geriatric)
• NH MIRT (Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy) license required; NH temporary license available (with equivalent state license from NM, ND, or OR) — quick turnaround
• Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment
• All required medical/occupational health compliance items must be completed and uploaded within 5 days of offer acceptance

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven ability to perform comprehensive general ultrasound exams
• Strong patient positioning and image optimization techniques
• Familiarity with facility documentation and uploading licenses/certificates
• Excellent communication and patient care skills across all age groups
• Attention to detail for compliance, scheduling, and timely paperwork submission
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with radiologists and clinical teams
