Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality med-surg and telemetry nursing care with compassion and clinical excellence
• Continuously monitor and accurately interpret telemetry strips and act on rhythm changes
• Perform timely assessments, medication administration, and safe documentation in the patient record
• Respond to code/emergency situations using ACLS and BLS protocols when required
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Float between units as needed, maintaining flexibility and a team-first attitude
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans to promote recovery

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Hampshire or a Compact RN license (must be active at time of submission)
• Minimum of 2 years recent Med-Surg/Telemetry experience (required)
• Current American Heart Association ACLS (in hand at time of submission)
• Current American Heart Association BLS (in hand at time of submission)
• Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Willingness and ability to float across units
• BSN highly preferred
• PALS and Tele strip interpretation experience highly preferred
• RTO (request time off) should be limited to 5 days — include RTO in submission
• One supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment required; include permanent address and license verification on submission

Education

• BSN highly preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong telemetry rhythm recognition and tele strip interpretation
• Med-Surg clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency with ACLS and BLS emergency protocols
• Comfortable giving IV medications and managing common acute conditions
• Effective communication and teamwork in fast-paced settings
• Accurate charting and adherence to documentation standards
• Adaptability to float between medical, surgical, and telemetry care areas
