Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
• Assist nursing team with patient mobility, transfers, and safe positioning
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing staff in a timely manner
• Document care accurately and maintain clear communication with interdisciplinary team members
• Support a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients and their families
• Engage patients with dignity and respect — your kindness makes a measurable difference

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential — Pennsylvania certification required or compact/state-appropriate equivalent
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Comfortable assisting with ADLs and following established care plans
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with nursing staff
• Previous healthcare or long-term care experience preferred but new grads with solid training are welcome

Education

• High school diploma or GED required
• Completed state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing care and infection prevention
• Proficient in safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Familiarity with charting and documentation best practices
• Ability to observe, record, and communicate patient changes clearly
• Customer-service mindset when interacting with patients and families
• Teamwork, reliability, and professional bedside manner
