Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Night shift, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (overnight); specific days vary and will be confirmed with the facility
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents with dignity and respect
- Support activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
- Monitor resident condition and report changes promptly to nursing staff
- Assist with safe transfers and positioning to promote comfort and prevent injury
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility policies for care and safety
- Support mealtime assistance and oral care while encouraging resident independence
- Foster a warm, social environment to enhance quality of life for residents
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification or state-approved nursing assistant credential (required)
- Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Comfort and experience working with geriatric and long-term care populations preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
- Pass a background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an approved GNA / nursing assistant training program required
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of basic geriatric care principles and safety practices
- Skilled in activities of daily living assistance and resident mobility support
- Able to observe, document, and communicate changes in resident status
- Compassionate bedside manner with patience and attention to detail
- Familiarity with infection control and standard precautions
