Shift Type: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (night shift; specific days not specified)

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting) with dignity and patience
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to older adults, promoting independence and comfort
- Observe and document resident changes in condition and communicate promptly to the nursing team
- Support safe mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and available assistive devices
- Follow individualized care plans and participate in team discussions to enhance resident outcomes
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols consistently
- Build trusting relationships with residents and families through respectful, person-centered care
Qualifications
- GNA certification (required)
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
- Comfort working with geriatric populations and performing hands-on care
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a care team
- Reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented — you notice the little things that matter
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- GNA certification (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Experience with geriatric nursing principles and best practices
- Skilled in activities of daily living (ADLs) assistance
- Basic vital signs monitoring and documentation
- Infection control and safe patient handling techniques
- Good clinical judgment, observation, and reporting skills
- Empathy, patience, and excellent interpersonal skills
