Shift Type: Days vary, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Day)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility
- Provide compassionate, respectful care that preserves dignity and independence
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
- Support safe meal service and assist with feeding as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of care and observations
- Work collaboratively with the care team to create a warm, homelike environment
Qualifications
- Current GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) certification or state equivalent
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Comfortable working directly with older adults and those with chronic conditions
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Background check and any required facility screenings/health clearances
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved GNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of basic geriatric care principles and safe patient handling
- Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
- Familiarity with infection control and hygiene practices
- Compassionate bedside manner and patience
- Good observational skills and ability to escalate concerns appropriately
