Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Four 10-hour days, 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM (day shift, 4x10 schedule); may include variable shifts, weekends, holidays and on-call as needed
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, culturally sensitive infusion oncology nursing care for patients receiving chemotherapy and immunotherapy
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Safely prepare and administer prescribed medications and treatments following policies, standards of care, and state practice acts
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and support continuity of care across the health system
- Deliver patient and family education tailored to the individual’s level of understanding and treatment plan
- Conduct telephone triage and manage patient flow for clinic and ambulatory settings
- Participate in quality improvement activities, shared governance, peer review, and evidence-based practice initiatives
- Support other departments by floating when needed and use clinical judgment to escalate concerns appropriately
Qualifications
- WI RN license or Compact RN license (required)
- BLS/CPR certification (required)
- Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy (ONS) Certification (required)
- Proven experience working in oncology infusion or ambulatory oncology settings (experienced RN preferred)
- Ability to float to other units and participate in weekend/holiday/on-call rotations as needed
- Strong critical thinking, clinical assessment, and patient education skills

- Infusion oncology nursing best practices and safe medication administration
- Patient assessment, care planning, and clinical documentation
- Telephone triage and ambulatory clinic flow management
- Patient and family education related to oncology treatments
- Evidence-based practice, peer review, and shared governance processes
