Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, culturally sensitive infusion oncology nursing care for patients receiving chemotherapy and immunotherapy
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Safely prepare and administer prescribed medications and treatments following policies, standards of care, and state practice acts
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and support continuity of care across the health system
• Deliver patient and family education tailored to the individual’s level of understanding and treatment plan
• Conduct telephone triage and manage patient flow for clinic and ambulatory settings
• Participate in quality improvement activities, shared governance, peer review, and evidence-based practice initiatives
• Support other departments by floating when needed and use clinical judgment to escalate concerns appropriately

Qualifications

• WI RN license or Compact RN license (required)
• BLS/CPR certification (required)
• Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy (ONS) Certification (required)
• Proven experience working in oncology infusion or ambulatory oncology settings (experienced RN preferred)
• Ability to float to other units and participate in weekend/holiday/on-call rotations as needed
• Strong critical thinking, clinical assessment, and patient education skills
