Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients comprehensively and deliver total nursing care
• Develop nursing diagnoses and individualized patient care plans
• Implement and evaluate nursing interventions for medical-surgical patients
• Lead and collaborate with ancillary nursing and interdisciplinary team members
• Provide safe, compassionate care across the lifespan including pediatrics to geriatrics
• Maintain professional standards, documentation, and infection control practices
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to a positive unit culture

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Oklahoma or compact licensure preferred)
• Minimum 6 months medical-surgical (med/surg) nursing experience required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient care planning skills
• Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts and collaborating in a team-focused environment

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and nursing diagnosis expertise
• Medical-surgical nursing fundamentals and care planning
• Ability to care for infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics
• Leadership, teamwork, and effective communication with interdisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with unit-based workflows and documentation standards
