Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients on admission and continuously monitor condition using nursing best practices
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and the care team
• Perform telemetry monitoring and interpret cardiac rhythms to guide timely interventions
• Monitor vital signs, labs and diagnostic results, and escalate changes in patient status
• Provide clear, compassionate communication to patients and families about care plans and progress
• Document patient care accurately and maintain continuity across shifts
• Participate in unit-based safety and quality initiatives to improve patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active New Hampshire RN license (required)
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• PCU/Stepdown nursing experience with telemetry required
• NIHSS recommended
• Weekend and holiday availability
• 3 years nursing experience preferred

Education

• Bachelor's degree required

• Patient assessment and clinical judgment in acute/stepdown settings
• Care planning and implementation under physician direction
• Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm recognition
• Vital signs, lab and diagnostic result interpretation
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication
• Mathematical and analytical skills for medication dosing and monitoring
