Shift Type: Rotating night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (12-hour nights). Schedules available: 4x12 and 3x12 night rotations. Every other weekend and holiday availability required.

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients on admission and throughout their stay using thorough interview and assessment techniques
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and the care team
• Provide direct and indirect patient care, including medication administration and routine treatments
• Monitor cardiac telemetry and recognize/act on changes in patient condition promptly
• Respond to emergencies with appropriate ACLS/BLS interventions and clear-headed action
• Document patient care accurately and communicate changes to the care team
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, care plans and discharge needs to support safe transitions
• Participate in quality improvement activities to help elevate patient care and unit performance

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for New Hampshire required
• Bachelor's degree required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• PCU/Stepdown experience with telemetry required; accepting nurses with tele experience only
• NIHSS recommended
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend and holidays as required

• Strong patient assessment and clinical judgment skills
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Care planning and coordinated implementation under physician direction
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication
• Solid analytical and mathematical skills for safe medication and treatment delivery
• Comfort working in a fast-paced stepdown environment and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
