Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in ICU and PCU settings
• Perform thorough assessments and continuously monitor critically ill patients
• Administer medications and advanced therapies safely and accurately
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Operate and troubleshoot monitoring and life-support equipment as needed
• Document patient status, interventions and outcomes in the medical record
• Educate patients and families with compassion and clarity during stressful times
• Adapt quickly to changing patient acuity and escalate concerns appropriately

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license (eligible to work in Nebraska; compact nurses encouraged to apply)
• Experience caring for ICU or PCU patients preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) strongly preferred
• Comfort with varied shift patterns including day and night rotations
• Ability to pass required background checks and meet client performance expectations

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
• BSN preferred but ADN considered

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in critical assessment and prioritization of acute care patients
• Familiarity with ventilator management and advanced cardiac monitoring
• Proficient in IV medication administration and titration
• Strong clinical judgment, teamwork and communication skills
• Comfort using electronic medical records and documenting care accurately
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
