Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide medical nutrition therapy (MNT) including comprehensive nutrition assessments and individualized diet modification plans
• Educate patients and families on nutrition interventions that improve health outcomes
• Collaborate closely with the medical team to implement and adjust nutrition care plans
• Follow the Company Diet Manual and Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA and facility confidentiality standards
• Support regulatory compliance with federal, state, and accrediting agencies through diligent practice and record-keeping
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to advocate for patient nutrition needs

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (RD or RDN) required
• Licensed Dietitian in the State of Missouri required
• Minimum 1 year of clinical dietitian experience
• Travel experience preferred
• Willingness to participate in rotating weekend on-call coverage as scheduled
• Strong clinical documentation skills and familiarity with regulatory compliance and HIPAA

Education

• Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (Registered Dietitian)
• State Dietitian license (Missouri) required
