Shift Type: Rotating nights, 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM (night shifts) with a schedule that includes 2 out of every 3 weekends
Hours per Week: 48
Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality labor and delivery care for mothers and newborns throughout the entire labor process
- Circulate and assist in C-sections when needed, maintaining sterile technique and team coordination
- Deliver NICU-level care for neonates and perform neonatal resuscitation as indicated
- Monitor fetal heart tracings and maternal status, intervening and escalating per protocol
- Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatologists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe handoffs
- Educate and support patients and families through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care
- Document patient care accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record
- Respond to obstetric emergencies calmly and competently, using ACLS, NRP and BLS skills
Qualifications
- Current RN license in good standing (compact license accepted where applicable)
- Minimum experience in Labor & Delivery and NICU; NICU-heavy experience required
- Circulating experience required; scrubbing/C-section experience strongly preferred
- Current ACLS, NRP, and BLS certifications (required prior to start)
- Comfort working night shifts and rotating weekend coverage
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen; meet facility onboarding requirements
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in fetal monitoring and interpretation
- Neonatal resuscitation and NICU-level newborn care
- Aseptic technique and perioperative support for C-sections
- Strong clinical assessment and triage skills in obstetrics
- Clear, compassionate patient and family communication
- Proficient documentation in electronic medical records
- Team-oriented collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary staff
