Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients to identify functional deficits and develop individualized OT plans of care
• Design and implement therapeutic interventions and use physical agents to restore function
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient-centered treatment goals
• Educate patients and families to maximize independence and safety within their environment
• Document assessments, progress, and discharge plans clearly and timely in the medical record
• Monitor outcomes and modify treatment plans to ensure measurable functional gains
• Maintain professional standards, follow facility policies, and ensure patient safety at high elevation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required
• Unrestricted Colorado OT license required or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required, may be obtained upon hire
• Minimum 2 years of occupational therapy experience preferred
• Experience with EPIC documentation preferred
• Bilingual Spanish preferred
• Healthy enough to safely function at high elevation (approximately 8,000 ft)

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy (required)
• Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient evaluation and treatment planning
• Proficient with therapeutic interventions and physical agents
• Strong documentation skills and clinical reasoning
• Comfortable working independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Familiarity with EPIC charting preferred
• Cultural sensitivity and ability to communicate with diverse patient populations
