Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct, high-quality critical care to acutely and critically ill patients in the ICU
• Perform continuous patient monitoring and rapid assessment to detect changes in condition
• Implement evidence-based interventions and coordinate timely treatments with the care team
• Collaborate closely with physicians, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes
• Document patient status, interventions, and responses accurately and professionally
• Support patient and family education with compassion and clear communication

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS required
• ACLS, PALS and TNCC preferred (strongly encouraged)
• Previous ICU experience preferred; OR experience is a plus
• Verification of high school diploma or equivalent required per CAP requirements

Education

• Verification of high school diploma or equivalent required
• Current nursing education leading to RN licensure (RN license required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Critical care nursing principles and ICU workflow
• Patient monitoring and rapid assessment skills
• Ability to perform and prioritize complex interventions
• Familiarity with ICU and OR environments and equipment
• Strong clinical judgment and teamwork in high-acuity settings
