Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered critical care in the ICU/CCU setting
• Monitor and assess complex cardiac and critical care patients and intervene promptly
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Safely manage advanced cardiac life support situations and follow ACLS protocols
• Float between units (including Cascade Valley) as assigned to meet patient needs
• Document care accurately, communicate changes in condition, and support families

Qualifications

• Active Washington RN license (required)
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• NIHSS certification (required)
• Demonstrated CCU/ICU experience — critical care background is a must
• Comfort with night shift practice and float-pool assignments
• Ability to call off up to 3 shifts per assignment (per client policy)

Education

• Nursing degree (ADN or BSN preferred)
• Relevant critical care training or certifications preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong assessment and triage skills for critically ill cardiac patients
• Proficiency with telemetry, hemodynamic monitoring, and ventilator basics
• Effective communication and teamwork in high-acuity environments
• Time management and prioritization during 12-hour night shifts
• Ability to adapt quickly when floating between units and workflows
