Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and non-chemotherapy infusions safely and compassionately to oncology and infusion patients
- Monitor patients closely during infusions, recognize changes in condition, and intervene promptly
- Collaborate with oncology providers and the infusion team to coordinate care and treatment plans
- Utilize the acuity scale for staffing and patient prioritization to maintain safe staffing levels
- Prepare and administer blood products and manage related documentation and safety checks
- Educate patients and caregivers about therapies, side effect management, and follow-up care
- Contribute to a positive patient experience by delivering professional, empathetic nursing care
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (required)
- ONS or ANCC oncology certification (REQUIRED)
- BLS certification (REQUIRED)
- ACLS certification (REQUIRED)
- Experience with infusion therapy, chemotherapy administration, and blood product administration
- Comfort working in an infusion center setting (multi-chair unit with Fast Track area)
Education
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)

- Infusion therapy techniques and safety
- Chemotherapy preparation and administration
- Blood product administration and monitoring
- Autoimmune and iron replacement infusion familiarity
- Infusion center operations and acuity-based staffing
- Strong patient assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
