Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shifts (rotating schedule) with multiple start times: 06:30 AM - 05:00 PM; 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM; 08:00 AM - 06:00 PM. Holidays and on-call shifts assigned by unit rotation. STEMI call assignment with a 30-minute response requirement and a minimum 4-hour callback.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients undergoing interventional cardiology and endovascular procedures
• Perform preoperative and postoperative patient care to ensure safe procedural flow
• Continuously monitor hemodynamics, including IABP and Impella devices, and respond to changes swiftly
• Manage ventilator settings and conduct ventilator care for patients when required
• Respond to STEMI calls within the required response time and support emergent interventions
• Administer and monitor sedation safely during procedures and coordinate with the clinical team
• Document care accurately in EPIC, XPER, and Change Healthcare systems
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and the cath lab team to drive positive patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Valid RN licensure in the state of Ohio required prior to start
• Current ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association required prior to start
• Cath lab experience with demonstrated preoperative and postoperative skills
• Proficiency with advanced hemodynamic monitoring, including IABP and Impella
• Experience with ventilator management is a must
• Comfort with STEMI response protocols and a 30-minute response expectation
• Ability to meet physical demands: lifting with assistance and prolonged standing as needed
