Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality Med/Surg care for adult and pediatric patients with compassion and clinical excellence
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care—own your impact on recovery and outcomes
• Collaborate closely with a full-time hospitalist physician and interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
• Float to other departments as needed, delivering safe patient care across units
• Document patient status and treatments accurately and in a timely manner
• Mentor and support teammates while working independently when required

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) credential (title indicates RN role)
• Minimum three (3) years of nursing experience—Med/Surg experience preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications (required)
• Comfortable working with minimal supervision and adapting in a rural facility
• Ability to float to other departments where qualified and provide safe patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong Med/Surg clinical knowledge and acute patient care skills
• Experience with adult and pediatric patient assessments and interventions
• Comfort with 12-hour shift workflows and prioritizing high-acuity tasks
• Teamwork and effective communication with physicians, hospitalists, and nursing staff
• Ability to work independently in a rural, modern facility and adapt to changing assignments
