Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients thoroughly and develop individualized nursing diagnoses
• Create and implement comprehensive care plans that promote recovery and comfort
• Provide total nursing care to a diverse patient population from infants to geriatrics
• Collaborate with ancillary staff and the patient care team to maintain high standards of nursing practice
• Lead and coordinate patient care activities on the unit to support efficient, safe workflows
• Document nursing assessments, interventions and outcomes accurately and timely

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma or eligibility through compact licensure
• Minimum 6 months of recent medical-surgical (MedSurg) nursing experience (required)
• Current BLS certification; ACLS or other certifications encouraged where applicable
• Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills
• Comfort working night shift schedules and ability to function independently on nights

Knowledge & Skills

• MedSurg nursing practices and standards
• Patient assessment and nursing diagnosis techniques
• Care plan development and implementation
• Ability to provide care across the lifespan: infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics
• Team collaboration and basic leadership on the unit
• Clear documentation and electronic medical record familiarity
