Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Day shift; Every other weekend on-call; 1 night of call per week (rotating on-call nights)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations across clinical specialties
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining patient comfort and safety
- Capture and deliver clinically relevant images to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure timely, accurate results
- Document procedures and findings clearly in the medical record and imaging systems
- Adhere to Clinical Standards and Scope of Practice for Diagnostic Sonography
- Participate in quality assurance, equipment checks, and ongoing competency activities
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- ARDMS (AB) or RVT credential required
- Current CPR or BLS certification required
- Comfortable taking call (every other weekend and one night per week) and able to flex hours as needed
- Professional, patient-focused communication skills and ability to work in a team
Education
- Graduate of an accredited School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of Diagnostic Medical Sonography and ultrasound principles
- Proficient in image acquisition, scanning protocols, and probe selection
- Familiarity with PACS and electronic medical record documentation
- Understanding of anatomy, pathology, and clinical indications for ultrasound
- Ability to follow Clinical Standards, infection control, and patient safety procedures
- Good troubleshooting skills for routine equipment checks
