Shift Type: Rotating Day / Evening / Weekends, 5x8 (40 hrs/week). Rotation covers Monday–Sunday; specific 8-hour start/end times vary by schedule and are assigned locally.

Candidate Pay Rate: $85 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide safe, accurate medication dispensing and clinical pharmacy services in an acute care hospital setting
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses and the care team to optimize medication therapy for patients
- Perform sterile compounding tasks following facility policies and USP standards when required
- Operate and manage automated dispensing systems (Pyxis) to support unit-based medication distribution
- Document clinical interventions and medication reconciliations clearly in Cerner when applicable
- Maintain compliance with ND state pharmacy regulations and facility standards
- Participate in weekend and evening rotations as scheduled to ensure continuous patient care
Qualifications
- Active North Dakota pharmacist license (required)
- Recent travel pharmacy experience (required)
- Hospital/acute care pharmacy experience (preferred)
- Sterile compounding experience (preferred)
- Experience with Cerner electronic health record (strongly preferred)
- Familiarity with Pyxis automated dispensing systems (preferred)
- Willingness to join ShiftWise Flex vendor pool and provide required documentation (resume, skills checklist, proof of licensure)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations and acute care medication management
- Skilled in sterile compounding procedures and aseptic technique
- Comfortable using Cerner for order entry, medication history and clinical documentation
- Experience working with Pyxis and other automated dispensing systems
- Ability to work independently on shift while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Attention to detail, medication safety mindset and regulatory compliance focus
