Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour day/evening shifts (varies across Mon-Sun, includes every 4th weekend), shift times: 06:00 AM - 06:30 PM; 08:30 AM - 09:00 PM; 10:00 AM - 10:30 PM, holiday rotation and on-call rotation. Typical schedule totals about 36 hours/week.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT procedures to create high-quality images for physician interpretation
• Prepare and educate patients so they feel informed and comfortable before scans
• Administer and manage contrast media and establish IV access safely and accurately
• Operate and select appropriate imaging equipment and accessories for each exam
• Position and immobilize patients with care, respecting comfort and clinical needs
• Provide radiographic, fluoroscopic, surgical and portable imaging when assigned
• Practice aseptic technique, observe universal precautions, and apply patient safety principles
• Initiate basic life support when necessary and act decisively in emergencies
• Maintain inventory and provide input on supply and equipment needs for your area
• Coach and mentor students and newer staff, sharing your practical expertise

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program
• Minimum 2 years of CT experience required
• ARRT Radiography registration required
• ARRT Computed Tomography registration required
• IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation required
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Comfortable alternating shifts, participating in weekend/holiday rotations and on-call duties

Education

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in computed tomography (CT) imaging protocols and patient positioning
• Skilled with radiography, fluoroscopy, surgical and portable imaging techniques
• Experienced with contrast media preparation and IV access management
• Strong patient communication and education skills to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation
• Aseptic technique and infection control best practices
• Ability to operate imaging equipment, capture quality images and troubleshoot common issues
• Inventory/supply control and practical input on equipment needs
• Teaching and mentoring skills to support students and partners
