Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based physical therapy treatments to support patient recovery
- Assess patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and document measurable goals
- Monitor and record patient progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
- Educate patients and families on home programs and safety to promote long-term outcomes
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with facility policies
Qualifications
- Valid Maine Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain Maine PT licensure
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (diploma, B.S., or M.S.)
- Current CPR/Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Valid Maine driver’s license as required by the client
- Previous patient care experience preferred
- Professional communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program (diploma, B.S., or M.S.)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and therapeutic intervention skills
- Knowledge of mobility, therapeutic exercise, and functional training
- Proficiency with documentation and patient progress tracking
- Ability to prioritize caseload and manage time in a busy environment
- Comfort collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and educating patients
