Shift Type: Night shifts, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, schedule includes nights and weekends as required (12-hour night rotation)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Triage patients rapidly and accurately to prioritize care and patient flow
- Provide direct patient care across the lifespan—from neonatal to geriatric
- Monitor hemodynamic and cardiac status, identify dysrhythmias and act promptly
- Start, manage, and discontinue IVs, medications and blood/blood components safely
- Document assessments, interventions and patient responses thoroughly and timely
- Communicate changes in patient status with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
- Lead and mentor colleagues when needed; assist with training and supervision
- Contribute to performance improvement and maintain regulatory and safety standards
Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in New Mexico (required)
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain within 30 days of hire
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or obtain within 6 months
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification or obtain within 6 months
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) and/or Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN) preferred
- Ability to perform head-to-toe assessments on patients of all ages and prioritize care
- Excellent communication, critical thinking and interpersonal skills
Education
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
Knowledge & Skills
- Emergency nursing and triage best practices
- Cardiac monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Hemodynamic monitoring and IV therapy management
- Accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Patient and family education and culturally sensitive care
- Ability to handle high-stress situations and multi-task effectively
- Familiarity with performance improvement and regulatory requirements
