Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ functional status and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide hands-on and therapeutic interventions to improve mobility and independence
• Document progress and outcomes in a timely, professional manner
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families on home programs and safe activity progression
• Use clinical judgment to modify treatment plans and escalate care when needed
• Contribute to a positive, patient-centered environment that supports recovery

Qualifications

• Current Montana Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one quickly
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT preferred)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtainable prior to start
• Clinical experience in acute or outpatient settings preferred
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Ability to pass required background and health screenings

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and therapeutic exercise prescription
• Manual therapy and therapeutic modalities knowledge
• Skilled in gait training and adaptive equipment recommendations
• Proficient clinical documentation and outcome measurement
• Ability to prioritize caseloads and provide efficient, compassionate care
• Comfortable working as part of an interdisciplinary team
