Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ functional status and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide hands-on and therapeutic interventions to improve mobility and independence
- Document progress and outcomes in a timely, professional manner
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and families on home programs and safe activity progression
- Use clinical judgment to modify treatment plans and escalate care when needed
- Contribute to a positive, patient-centered environment that supports recovery
Qualifications
- Current Montana Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one quickly
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT preferred)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtainable prior to start
- Clinical experience in acute or outpatient settings preferred
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to pass required background and health screenings
Education
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and therapeutic exercise prescription
- Manual therapy and therapeutic modalities knowledge
- Skilled in gait training and adaptive equipment recommendations
- Proficient clinical documentation and outcome measurement
- Ability to prioritize caseloads and provide efficient, compassionate care
- Comfortable working as part of an interdisciplinary team
