Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert Labor & Delivery nursing care during night shifts, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Circulate and assist in C-section procedures, and manage immediate post-operative recovery
• Float to the Postpartum unit as needed to support continuity of care for new mothers and families
• Perform continuous fetal monitoring and interpret tracings, escalating concerns promptly
• Document thoroughly in EPIC — charting accuracy is essential and required
• Collaborate with OB providers, anesthesiology, and pediatrics to coordinate seamless care
• Support parents and families with compassionate education and post-delivery instructions

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) with Labor & Delivery experience (position listed as L&D RN Nights)
• Fetal Monitoring Certification — required
• EPIC experience — required (must have hands-on EPIC proficiency)
• Proven ability to circulate and recover C-section patients and to float to Postpartum — required
• Neonatal/infant care experience preferred (care for babies during recovery is a plus)
• Ability to meet travel/contract requirements and commit to a 13-week assignment

• Comfort with night shift dynamics and flexible patient assignments
