Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality speech-language therapy across inpatient hospital, nursing home, outpatient clinic and local school settings
- Assess, plan and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based approaches
- Deliver the LSVT Big and Loud program to appropriate patients to maximize functional outcomes
- Collaborate closely with physical and occupational therapists, nursing staff and providers to coordinate care
- Document clinical progress and maintain accurate, timely medical records
- Communicate with patients, families and caregivers to educate and support rehabilitation goals
- Participate in department meetings and contribute to a positive, team-focused work environment
Qualifications
- Current Montana Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility to obtain state licensure
- ASHA CCC-SLP preferred
- Experience or training with LSVT Big and Loud program
- Comfortable providing care across inpatient, outpatient, long-term care and school settings
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to nearby facilities as required
- Strong documentation and communication skills
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent graduate degree)
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in speech therapy evaluation and treatment across the lifespan
- Familiarity with LSVT Big and Loud techniques and protocols
- Ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary rehab teams
- Understanding of inpatient and outpatient rehab workflows
- Comfort with caseloads that include hydrotherapy, pelvic health intersections and pain management referrals
